US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to ban sexually athletes from competing in girls and women’s sports.

According to the signed order on Wednesday, the funding of the federal government will be rejected for educational institutes that allow girls and women transformed to participate in female sports and the use of female tank rooms.

It also directs government agencies to strengthen female sex -based sport groups in international organizations, representatives of major mathematical organizations and ruling bodies to enhance “honest and safe policies, in the interest of female mathematics.”

“We are setting every school that receives taxpayers dollars: if men are allowed to control the law that prohibits sexual discrimination in education,” Trump said in a reference to 1972.

Trump announced that his administration “announced the end of” war on women’s sport “, that his administration will not” stand and watch men strike and strike female athletes. “

“We will not let it happen, it will end, and it ends now and no one will be able to do something curse because when I am talking, we are talking to power.”

Trump also said that he would push the International Olympic Committee, which left the issue of the participation of people in sport to international ruling bodies, to explicitly support sex -based participation before the Summer Olympiad 2028 in Los Angeles.

The US President said: “We want them to change everything related to the Olympics and to have a relationship with this very funny topic.”

Women’s participation in sport has been a thunderbolt rod in American culture wars in recent years, although the number of athletes concerned is minor.

Charlie Baker, head of the National University Athletics Association (NCAA), the American Senate Committee in December, stated that he knows less than 10 people through transites competing between 520,000 athletes in colleges worldwide.

Opinion polls have proposed the increasing general opposition to women who are competing amid high -level differences related to athletes, such as the university swimmer Leah Thomas, who won the National Championship in the first division in 2022 before being banned from women’s events by aquatic neighborhoods.

In the 2023 poll, 69 percent of Americans said that only converting athletes should be allowed to compete for the sports teams that are in line with their gender, an altitude of seven points compared to 2021.

Baker, President of NCAA, welcomed Trump to put a “clear national standard”.

“We believe a firm belief that the clear, consistent and unified eligibility standards will serve the best sports students today instead of a mixture of the conflicting state laws and the court’s decisions,” Baker said in a statement.

He added: “The NCA Council will review the executive order and take the necessary steps to align the NCAA policy in the coming days, taking into account more guidance from the administration.”

“The association will continue to help enhance the welcome environments in universities for all sports students.”

An ally an athlete, a group of supported by LGBTQ, said that the transient youth “are no longer able to know the joy of exercising as their full and authentic soul.”

“We knew that this day was likely to happen for a long time, as this administration continues to follow simple solutions to complex issues, which often leads to Animus towards the most marginalized societies in our country,” the group said in a statement.

“Despite this executive matter, we will continue to choose love, acceptance and curiosity with anyone interested in creating a future from sports where everyone belongs. We will continue to work with sports bodies to expand the scope of access to life -saving sport power whenever possible.”

GLADD, one of the largest LGBTQ rights organizations in the United States, has condemned Trump’s order to be “inaccurate and unfinished.”

“All women and girls, including women and girls, must be welcome to exercise if they want, make decisions on their bodies, be appointed to qualified jobs for them, and be free of attacks that law does not work by extremists in Elected positions, and the group said in a statement.

“Politicists, gay, gay and gay, with a record of abuse and silence of women and the abstraction of health care have no credibility in any conversation on protecting women and girls.”

Trump has signed four executive orders directed at the converted persons since its inauguration on January 20, including a declaration of recognition only of the two sexes, a ban on public service in the army, and a matter of sexual transformations of people under the age of 19.
