Teofimo Lopez Vs. Arnold Barboza Jr: Strategic Analysis

On Friday, May 2, the date will be made when an event for boxing will be held for the first time in Times Square. “Tripleheader Right of Excel” will classify the event, which includes some of the largest boxing stars; The card will appear: Ryan Garcia opposite Rolly Romero and Devin Haney opposite Jose Ramirez and Teofimo Lopez opposite Arnold Barboza JR.

The first match of the Tripleheader collection can be the most interesting in that it may be a quarrel or technical match in boxing, depending on the aggression of the Lineal Teofimo champion.

Arnold Barboza Jr. (32-0, 11 KOS) is a non-defeated boxer that has increased the level of competition significantly. In his last three matches, Jack Catiraral, Jose Ramirez and Shawn Makomb played. They were all some somewhat close battles, no more than his match against Sean McOMP. Although Barboza won the divided decision, noticeable, there are some who feel that he lost the match.

MCCOCB outperformed Barboza 107 to 99, respectively. He holds one numbers in the punches that fell in five of the twelve round. He did this by boxing for a technical match using side movement, range, and effective JAB. A prominent Lopez admitted is the sports boxer. It is the sport that will allow TEO to repeat the MCCOMB boxing performance, if it chooses to do so.

Teofimo Lopez (21-1, 13 KOS) graceful, fast and mobile. He can win a technically sound match if he chooses it, but sometimes it cannot be predicted and instead he chooses the fight when he should not. In his last match against the volume, pressure fighter, Steve Clagit, is intelligently aligned with his boxing with a similar approach used by Makomb against Barbosa. In doing this, Lopez was able to reduce Claggett offensive effectiveness.

His total detention of 17 percent connection during 12 rounds, which greatly reduces his crime. Claggett, a large size that was placed on average 102.7 punches per round before Lopez, was held at its lowest level in 54 against Teo because of its inability to reach a moving goal. Barboza has faced difficulties against MCCOSB because of its movement, the set of skills that Lopez has, and if used effectively, can make it difficult for Barboza (compubox).

TEO well -trapped against Vasiliy Lomachenko and Josh Taylor, but they accidentally followed the wrong approach against George Campusus, they choose to stay in the pocket and exchange, instead of his boxing. Campusus could have stabbed Lopez to fight his battle by attacking him with verbal insults throughout the battle.

In this match against Barboza, it seems very active and a match for the match, and although he slapped Barboza in The Presser in Los Angeles, he appears to be subject to controlling the point where he realizes the strategy that must be employed against Arnold. There is some hostility and resentment on the part of Barboza to ignore it by Lopez several years ago.

Tio looked that Barbuza is not due to the match and felt that he was not equal. Lopez Arnold should not reduce and need to take it seriously; It represents a legitimate threat, and if TEO dominates performance, he may eventually find itself losing. Lopez must perform and implement its full potential; If he does, he will win the match.
