Boxing Results: Keith Thurman Stops Jarvis, Showing Power And Decline In Sydney

Keith Thurman (31-1, 23 Cos) returned to his successful return to the circuit with the artistic knockout in the third round of Brock Garfis (22-2, 20 Cos) on Wednesday night in Gilrren Pavilion, Sydney.
The former WBC and WBO champion, Thorman, 36, dropped Garvis twice in the third round with large shots on his head. The referee will stop Soulos the battle after a second judge. The official time was to stop at 2:19 from the tour.

In the first judge’s blow, Thuman fell “once” right to the head of Jarvis, which he seized severely. He overcame the count when he returned to ascending, but he looked in bad condition when the event was reintegrated.
Keith then went to kill, empty Garfis and his flat road with a left hook in the head. Soulos judgment immediately stopped the battle because Brock did not wake up from this knockout.
In the first round, Thorman threw something almost, moving around the ring, in an attempt to stay away from the 27 -year -old Garfis’s younger scope. In the middle of the tour, Jarvis Thurman rushed, with it with strong body clips repeatedly disturbed the former weight hero in weight.
Jarvis was loaded on a left hook barely missing Thurman’s head in the final seconds of the round. That was a snapshot that would cause harm if it was connected.
Thorman fell two shots of the solid body in the second round, which caught the attention of Garvis, and it seems that it hurts a little. The Australian appeared in principle after being punched, and it was not aggressive as it was in the previous round.
However, Keith did not do much to separate himself from the most difficult shots that Brock hit. You can see the big difference in young people between the two in this round. Thorman resembles an older person.
In the third round, Thorman Garfis chased the ring, throwing strong right hands but very slow and left hooks. “Once” then Jarvis was trapped against the ropes and fell in a right -right position to put it firmly on the fabric. Surprisingly, Bruck returned from a knockout, but he did not show any condition that he was still fighting. Thorman went after him and finished working with a left hook and put him on the plate.
The lost speed
The battle was the first in Thurman in more than three years since February 5, 2022, and it seemed much slower than in his last competition against Mario Barius that year. Thorman has a lot of his game in terms of hand and movement since then, which will not return.
With this victory over Jarvis, the former TIM TSZYU champion Thurman is expected to face Tim Tszyu in the summer in Australia. Tszyu lost his last battles, and he came out of the loss of a third evil judge against the IBF Bakhram M mottazaliev champion.
Tszyu should prefer Thurman in that battle due to the slow Keith tonight. The lack of speed and work rate will put Thorman at the mercy of any 15 novice weights. He lost a lot of his game to overcome any of the best 154 lbs. Based on his performance tonight, I cannot think of any prominent competitor that Thurman can defeat.
