“Never Again” – Garcia Rejects VADA, Putting Haney Rematch In Doubt

Ryan Garcia says he doesn’t understand why Bill Haney would pressure VADA to be the drug testing agency for his rematch with Devin Haney. Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) wonders if people are getting “Kind of cut money for VADA use.“

Ryan says he will “never” Use VADA again. This means that if there is a rematch between him and Devin (31-0, 15 KOs), a different drug testing organization will have to be used.

If Bill insists on only VADA, his son could miss out on a lucrative rematch with Ryan. Devin claims this is the “biggest fight” in boxing today. However, the rematch may not take place unless another drug testing agency is used.

It shouldn’t matter to Bill which agency is used. As long as there was a test, that was the important thing, especially if he was worried about Devin getting beaten again. He looked pretty bad the last time he faced Ryan in 2024.

That would be bad for Haney because he’s a weak fighter with a chin problem, and he’ll get beaten by a less popular fighter than Kingery sooner or later when he faces someone decent.

“It’s getting really weird why it’s always VADA. Can we get some other organization to test. Because you’ve got Bill.” [Haney] VADA payment only. He never mentions any other organizations, which is weird [that] It pays a particular organization. Don’t you want just any kind of test? This all sounds like people who pay to use VADA are getting some sort of financial cut for getting people to use VADA. It seems unethical. “That’s just my opinion,” Ryan Garcia said. “I’m clean, but this is an organization I’ll never use again,” Ryan said about how he will never use VADA again.
