Myanmar’s military junta chief joins Bangkok summit in rare trip abroad | Military News

Nug said it urged Bimstec to “immediately cancel the military council’s participation in the summit and relevant meetings.”

“I think the opposite will happen if we do not adhere to what the charter says,” said Nicorendij Palackur, a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Thailand.
