US President Donald Trump said that two million Palestinians will be resettled in neighboring countries under his plan to take over and rebuild the Gaza Strip, he will not have the right to return.

“No, they will not do it, because they will have much better housing,” he told Fox News. “I am talking about building a permanent place for them.”

A section of the interview was issued a day after Trump said he was “committed to buying and possessing Gaza”, despite the global condemnation of the plan that was unveiled last week.

The Palestinian Authority and the Armed Group Hamas, which caused its 16 -month war with Israel in widespread destruction in Gaza, stressed that the Palestinian land is “not for sale.”

But Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised Trump’s proposal as “revolutionary and creative”.

The United Nations has warned that any forced displacement of civilians from the occupied territories is strictly prohibited under international law and “an ethnic cleansing.”

Three weeks come from a fragile ceasefire in Gaza, where Hamas released some of the Israeli hostages that they keep in exchange for Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons.

The Israeli army launched a campaign to destroy Hamas in response to an unprecedented attack across the border on October 7, 2023, where about 1,200 people were killed and 251 grooves were taken.

More than 4,200 people have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health in the region.

Most Gaza population has been displaced several times, and approximately 70 % of buildings are estimated at damage or destruction, health care, water, sanitation, and image, have collapsed, and there is a lack of food, fuel, medicine and shelter.

In his interview with Brett Bayer from Fox News, Trump promised to build “beautiful societies” for Palestinians in Gaza.

“It could be five, six, they could be two. But we will build safe societies, slightly away from their whereabouts, where all this danger. Meanwhile, I had this,” he said.

“Think about it as a real estate development for the future. It will be a beautiful plot of land. Don’t spend big money.”

Then he explained that the Palestinians will not have the right to return to Gaza because their lives will be “much better” elsewhere, and Foreign Minister Marco Rubio and the White House press secretary Caroline Levit, who told the correspondents last week that the transition would be temporary during the reconstruction.

“If they have to return now, it will continue to do so before you can – this is not valid for housing,” Trump said.

“I am talking about starting construction, and I think I can make a deal with Jordan. I think I can make a deal with Egypt. As you know, we give them billions and billions of dollars annually.”

The leaders of Egypt and Jordan rejected Trump’s plan and previous requests to capture refugees from Gaza.

However, the King of Jordan, Abdullah, is scheduled to meet in Washington on Tuesday, while the Israeli President said that Trump will hold talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fahia Al -Sisi and the Saudi front, Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the coming days.

On Sunday, Trump doubled in the acquisition plan.

“I am committed to buying and possessing Gaza,” he told reporters on the first air force.

“As much as we rebuild it, we may present it to other states in the Middle East to build sections of it. Others may do this through our care. But we are committed to possessing it, taking it, and making sure of this is enthusiasm that no longer.”

Trump said that people from all over the world will be able to move to Gaza and that the Palestinians do not want to return there.

“They only return because they have no alternative,” he said.

The Israeli Prime Minister praised Trump’s proposal at the Cabinet meeting in Jerusalem on Sunday.

“For a whole year, we were told” the next day ” [Palestine Liberation Organisation]Netanyahu said that the Palestinian Authority should be in the tape.

“President Trump came with a completely different vision, much better for the State of Israel, which is a revolutionary and creative vision, which we discuss. He is very determined to implement it. This also opens many possibilities for us.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs told the Palestinian Authority: “The rights of our people and our lands are not for sale, exchange, or bargaining.”

“The Israeli government and Prime Minister Netanyahu are trying to cover up the crimes of genocide, the forced displacement and the annexation they committed against our people,” he added.

“For this purpose, they continue to enhance slogans and positions separate from the political reality and away from the requirements of political solutions to the conflict.”

A political official – who prohibits him as a terrorist organization by Israel, the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries – said that Trump’s statements were “ridiculous” and reflected “a deep ignorance of Palestine and the region.”

“Gaza is not a king who is sold and authenticated. It is an integral part of our occupied Palestinian land,” he said.

The Palestinians fear the repetition of the Nakba, or the “disaster”, when hundreds of thousands of their homes fled and during the war that followed the establishment of Israel in 1948.

It ended with many of these refugees in Gaza, where they and their grandchildren are three quarters of the population. 900,000 other registered refugees live in the West Bank, which Israel occupied in the Middle East war in 1967 alongside Gaza, while 3.4 million others live in Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, according to the United Nations.

The Palestinians insist on the right of these refugees to return, but Israel refused this.

Unilaterally Israel withdrew its forces and settlers from Gaza in 2005, although it retained the control of its common borders, air field and coastal line, giving it effective control of the movement of people and goods. The United Nations still considers Gaza as an area occupying Israel due to the level of control of Israel.

German adviser Olaf Scholls also criticized Trump’s plan on Sunday, describing it as a “scandal.”

He said during the pre -televised discussion: “I say this with the Egyptian government, with the Jordanian government and with people who can rely on human dignity: the transfer of population is unacceptable and against international law.”

Palestinian officials and Arab countries also condemned the comments made by Netanyahu in a television interview last week.

The Israeli journalist was discussing efforts to normalize diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia when he said by mistake that there would be no progress without the establishment of a “Saudi state.”

“Palestinian state.” Netanyahu corrected it, before adding: “What you did not want to be the Palestinian state in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia? They have a lot of land.”

Egypt described a “reckless” proposal and something “that violates Saudi sovereignty”, while Jordan said it was “a flagrant violation of international law.”

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia said on Sunday that it appreciates “condemnation, rejection and complete rejection announced by the brotherly countries towards what Benjamin Netanyahu mentioned regarding the displacement of the Palestinian people from their land.”
