The President of Poland called on the United States to transfer nuclear weapons to Polish territory as a deterrent against the Russian aggression in the future, and it is likely to be seen as a very provocative in Moscow.
Anderzig Doda said that it is “clear” that President Donald Trump can re -spread the American nuclear warheads stored in Western Europe or the United States to Poland, the Polish leader’s proposal said he had recently discussed with Keith Keel, an American special envoy for Ukraine.
“NATO borders moved east in 1999, so after 26 years, there must also be a shift in the infrastructure of the East NATO. Doda said in an interview with the Financial Times:” For me this is clear. “
Doda hopes to revive a project that he presented to no avail to the administration of former President Joe Biden in 2022. The Communist regime in Poland hosted the Soviet nuclear warheads during the Cold War, but it will store such weapons again from the borders of Russia – this time under US control – will be presented to a serious threat.
Doda said that it is up to Trump to report the place of deployment of US nuclear weapons, but he recalled President Vladimir Putin’s announcement in 2023 that Russia would transfer tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus, Moscow’s ally in its invasion of Ukraine.
“Russia did not hesitate even when they were transporting their nuclear weapons to Belarus,” Doda said. “They did not ask anyone for anyone.”

Doda invitation to host nuclear weapons that are increasingly worried about Poland – Common with other countries in its region – about emerging Russia, reinforced from peace negotiations with Trump’s Ukraine.
Doda, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces in Poland, chanted Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, saying that the country could get better protection than the idea of President Emmanuel Macron to expand the “nuclear umbrella” of France to cover European allies.
But Doda poured cold water on the suggestion of Tusk last week that Poland could develop its nuclear arsenal. “In order to obtain our nuclear ability, I think it will take decades,” the president said.
Doda also said that he could not imagine Trump returning to his commitment during their meeting last month about the preservation of American forces in Poland.
“The concerns related to the United States regain their military presence from Poland are not justified. We are a reliable ally of the United States and also have their strategic interests here.”

The Polish president also said that Trump does not consider negotiations in support of Moscow to force Kiev to stop fighting.
“This is not a sensitive diplomacy, it is a difficult game, but in my opinion, not that President Trump is nice and gentle with Russia,” Doda said. “I think it applies tools against Russia, although it may not be noisy and visual as it uses against Ukraine.”
“No one has yet been able to stop this war, so let’s give President Trump a chance.”
At the end of last week, Polish Foreign Minister Radosao Sikorski stumbled with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Trump ally Elon Musk on social media because Ukraine’s arrival in the Musk satellite system, with the exclusion of musk Sikorsky as a “small man”. Tusk intervened to invite Poland’s allies to show respect for weaker partners instead of arrogance.
Instead, Doda Sikorsky criticized the “completely unnecessary” intervention on Starlink. “You are not discussing with the American administration on Twitter, you are doing it through diplomatic channels,” he said.
Doda, a candidate for the opposition and Justice Party (PIS), has been in Lugjarfar with the Tusk alliance since they won the parliamentary elections in 2023. He has repeatedly achieved a Tusk reform agenda with the help of the judges accredited to PIS who packed the Constitutional Court.
When asked whether the Trump administration could affect the Polish presidential elections in May, Doda said he was “convinced that the Polish will make their own decisions.” But he expressed concern about the disputed election results, such as those in Romania, given that the judges will also need to verify the Polish results.
“There is no doubt that we are currently dealing with a very serious constitutional crisis in Poland,” Doda said. “What happened in Romania is concerned and does not meet European democratic standards.”
The Roman Constitutional Court banned the right -wing right candidate Celine Georgisco after canceling his victory in the first round after allegations that he had benefited from an illegal campaign published by Moscow.
The Polish President accused the European Commission of turning a blind eye to the institutional conflict of Poland after he was claimed that “many measures” to restore to power in 2023.
“The European Commission is now pretending to not see this,” said Doda. And do you know why, because Prime Minister Tusk is a member of the same European party, like most members of the European Commission, along with its president [Ursula von der Leyen]”
