The United Nations Office for Human Rights says that entire families, including women and children, were killed during the recent violence in the coastal region of Syria.

A spokesman for the journalists said that the United Nations has so far been fulfilled by the killing of 111 civilians since last Thursday, but the actual number is believed to be much higher.

He added that many cases were brief executions and it seems that they were carried out on a sectarian basis, with the presence of strong areas often targeted in particular.

The militants who support the Sunni -led government were accused of carrying out killings to revenge in the wake of a fatal ambush on a security patrol by the loyalists of President Bashar al -Assad, Alawite.

A monitoring group reported that more than 1,200 civilians, most of them Alpine, were killed in Latakia, Wattosos, and meters.

The United Nations welcomed the promise of Syrian temporary President Ahmed Al -Shara to form an independent investigation committee and hold accountable those responsible for the account.

This violence was the worst in Syria since Shara led the rebel attack that overthrew a rescue in December, where he ended 13 years of civil war in which more than 600,000 people were killed.

The northern western coast of the Mediterranean Sea is the heart of the Alawi sect, a branch of Shiite Islam to which many political and military elites belong to the former Assad regime.

Last week, the security forces launched an operation in the area in response to the increasing rebellion by Assad’s loyalists.

Violence escalated on Thursday, after 13 security personnel were killed in an ambush by the militants in the coastal town of Gabies.

The security forces responded by sending reinforcements to the area, to which armed groups and individuals who support the government have joined.

They stormed many cities and villages throughout the region, where residents said they carried out killings for revenge and looted homes and shops.

A spokesman for the United Nations Human Rights Office, the eighth Khunahaan, said on Tuesday that reports are continuing to appear “the painful size of violence.”

He said that the United Nations, using strict verification methods, has so far documented the killings of 90 male civilians, 18 women, two girls, and one boy.

He added that the initial reports indicated that the perpetrators were members of the armed groups that support the security forces and the elements linked to the Assad regime.

He said, referring to the arrested fighters, “In a number of very annoying cases, the entire families were killed – including women, children and individuals, with cities and villages mostly, or mutitors,” he said.

“According to many of the certificates collected by our office, the perpetrators raided the houses, and asked the residents whether they were Alawite or the Sunnis before they started their killing or spare them accordingly. Some survivors told us that many men were killed in front of their families.”

The loyal lion also raided many hospitals in Latakia, Tartus and Banias, according to Mr. Khoan. They clashed with the security forces, which led to dozens of civil losses, including patients and paramedics, as well as the damage to hospitals.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a UK -based monitoring group, said that the number of its civil death has risen to 1225, after 132 people were reported on Tuesday, including 62 in the town of Banias. About 230 security personnel and 250 fighters supporting Assad were killed, according to her network of sources.

Mr. Khunan said that the head of the United Nations Human Rights urged the Syrian authorities to conduct quick, comprehensive, independent and neutral investigations.

“All those who have found responsible for violations, regardless of their affiliation, must be objected to, in line with the standards and standards of international law. Victims and their families have the right in fact, justice and reform.”

A spokesman for the new investigation committee established by the government said it was already “gathering and reviewing evidence” and will submit a report within 30 days.

“No one is above the law. The committee will transfer all the results to the entity he launched, the presidency, and the judiciary,” Yasser Farhan said in a press conference.

The state -run Sana news agency also reported that four people were arrested due to “bloody violations against civilians” in a coastal village after they were identified in videos.

Meanwhile, residents of the area said that the situation seemed calm on Tuesday, when he heard intermittent shooting only overnight.

A man who fled from the Banias town three days ago told the BBC that he managed to return to his home to verify this because the security forces had created checkpoints in the neighborhood to prevent further killings and looting.

The man, who asked not to be identified, said that the bodies that were lying in the streets of Banias last week were no longer there.

The Syrian Red Crescent, with the help of the security forces, was said to restore the bodies and bury them in mass graves in the city cemetery.

However, most families are no longer home, because they are shocked by what happened and anxiety about their safety, amid reports of continued killings and looting.

Many have resorted to the Russian -controlled Hmeimim Airbase base outside the city of Latakia, protected in local schools or fled to rural areas.

Others crossed to the neighboring Lebanon, where a BBC woman told the armed men that attacked her house in Hama countryside two months ago and killed men from her family.

“My brother was 11 and 12 years old,” Hind said.

One of them asked his friend about our religion.

“They see us as guilty just because our president was Alawite. But the truth is that we are the poorest. Our youth joined the army only to fight and kill.”

A young man named Wissam said he no longer trusted the government and security forces.

“All of them are identical – gunmen and covered faces. They have privileges in which no one else has. They do what they want.”
